Height of Hooks on Blaylock EZ Lock Gooseneck Coupler Lock # BLTL-55

Question:
I have several gooseneck trailers and own 5 Blaylock BLTL-50 gooseneck base locks which fit my Bulldog, Stallion, and some other brands of couplers just fine. I have a TEM coupler on one trailer that has a thicker casting where the pin and handle s in which is too big for the 50 series lock. Is the BLTL-55 larger / more open on the narrow end? Some dimensions would be helpful before I go to modifying one of my 50s. The photo of the RAM coupler looks similar to a Superior coupler I have but the 50 series fits the Superior, not my TEMCO. Looking at images both at e Trailer and Blaylocks website it appears the hooksinch are a little higher on the 55. Can someone throw a tape measure on them and shoot me some dimensions? If its got a wider jaw than the 50 Im willing to give it a go. Thank you-

I spoke with my contact at Blaylock and the dimension you are looking for on the EZ Lock part # BLTL-55 that you referenced is 2-1/4 inches.
