Question:

Hello, I have a 2014 Wrangler with a 3inch lift. The current hitch I use is a 8inch but the jeep sags to much in the rear. I am thinking about going with a WD setup and an 8inch drop. My trailer has a tongue wait of 525 when loaded including water. Is there a Curt setup that I can get that would come with the shank with that much drop or do I have to buy the WD setup and then an extra shank to go along with it? Thank you for your help

Expert Reply:

There is only one size shank that comes with the Curt weight distribution systems so you would have to get a different shank separately if more drop is needed.

What I recommend though is Fastway system # FA94-00-1033. It doesn't come with a shank so you can order one to go with it that has the right amount of drop such as # C17123.

With this system you will also need a ball, # 19286, for a 2-5/16 inch ball. I have linked a video review of the Fastway system for you.
