Question:

Im curious what hitch I would put on my 2015 VW Golf TDI with the DSG transmission. I only see hitches for the GTI and R models. Also would you know how much I could tow safety with my car? I am hoping to be able to tow 1 motorcycle on a small trailer. - Thanks

For your 2015 VW Golf TDI, I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24949. Then for a ball mount I recommend the Draw-Tite # 3590 which comes with the pin and clip included. For your hitch ball, I recommend # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch diameter or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball.

For your trailer wiring, I recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236. This will require splicing into your factory wiring with quick splice connectors and running the power wire directly to your battery. I've attached an article to assist with routing that wire.

For your towing capacity and restrictions, you will need to check with your owners manual as that is not something they give me access to online to check for you.
