Question:

I would like to install a rack to transport one or two kayak/canoes on 2011 Rockwood A122 A-frame with rear skylight. Recommendations?

I recommend using the Swagman Roamer LT Rack, part # S80510. This rack is able to install quickly onto the roof of your trailer, and provide two square bar points to mount a set of kayak carriers.

Prior to installation, be sure that there is at least 30 inches between where you intend to install the bars, as this is required to help distribute the load's weight.

For the carriers, you'll want something that can handle both kayaks and canoes, and is fairly light so when you open the camper, its easy to get the frame into place quickly. I recommend the Swagman Exo Aero carrier, part # S65145. This carrier is able to handle both kayaks and canoes up to 100 pounds each, and includes a complete bow and stern tie down kit.

This will sit physically higher off the bar than a lot of carriers, giving you a better clearance to get over the skylight.
