Question:
we now have a 2018 Ford F250 super duty truck. Trailer Hitch does not allow for safety chains to be properly used due to new hitch design. what do you have for proper use of safety chains on this new style hitch from Ford

From the picture that you sent me it looks like you could possibly use a quick link like part # C82932 and leave it connected for easy access to hook up your safety chains when towing.
The Curt Safety Chains Quick Link # C82932 is a 1/2" link that is rated for up to 16,500 lbs Break Strength and 3,300 lbs Safe Working Lead Limit. This would be a great option for your situation and would make connecting and disconnecting your safety chains much easier.
You can verify if this will fit your safety chain loops by comparing the following dimensions with what you have.
The gap when the safety chain is in the "opened" position is 5/8" which you will want to compare to your loops. The overall inside length is 3-5/16" and the width is about 7/8" wide. I have attached a video for you to reference.
