Question:
Hi folks - looking for a hitch for my bike rack - I have a 2009 lexus rx 350 - I would like a 1/ 1/4 inch receiver - what kind of hitch is available?

There are only Class III, 2 inch trailer hitches available for your 2009 Lexus RX 350 but not to worry because you can still use your 1-1/4 inch bike rack. You just need to also use a reducer sleeve with the hitch, # HT02. Or you could use # MT70033 but this style will reduce the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch by 50 percent.
The trailer hitch I recommend is # 13530. It has a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds so if you used adapter # MT70033 the tongue weight capacity will be reduced to 175 pounds. That means that the combined weight of the bike rack and bikes cannot exceed 175 pounds (which won't be a problem).
