Will this work on an aluminum trailer? Its a 2 x 6 x 3/16 inch wall tube with a 1/8 inch thick center rib. I realize I may need different hardware.

The Replacement Ball and Plate Assembly # C17201, which is the replacement assembly for the Curt Friction Sway Control System # 17200 can be used on an aluminum trailer. However, we always recommend that if you have an aluminum trailer frame to contact the manufacturer to ensure they are okay with it.
