What is the size of the nut?

I spoke with my contact at Curt and he said that the Replacement Pintle Ball # C48830 uses a 1-1/4 inch nut. For that size nut you will need to use either a 1-7/8 inch or 2 inch wrench depending on if the nut they put on at the factory is the heavy gauge or the light gauge.
