Question:
I have a 20foot car trailer. 18foot with 2foot dovetail. When I load a vehicle the back of the trailer drops all the way to the ground. Should I be using a drop leg to give it support?

I definitely recommend adding a couple of drop leg jacks to your car trailer to help with the rear sag you are getting when loading a vehicle. The Fulton Drop-Leg Stabilizer Jack # FSJL80300 is a great option. This is a weld-on jack that will help stabilize your trailer and the square leg will telescope to the ground when you pull the included pin. The drop leg itself measures 20 inches tall and features a 2,000 pound support capacity. You can install one for each side of the trailer at the rear.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
