How Does Light Assembly of Peterson Trailer Turn Signal Light # 421KRUS Uninstall
Updated 01/02/2018 | Published 01/01/2018 >
Question:
How do I get the old light out? Ive tried gently tugging on the rubber grommet but it doesnt seem to be moving at all. Id like to remove the old one before I order a new one, to make sure its the right part.

The light assembly of the part # 421KRUS needs to come out first and then you can remove the rubber grommet. The lip on the grommet prevents it from being able to pull out when the assembly is holding that lip firmly to the cut out of the trailer.
You'll want to push the light from behind the assembly out if you can access it or you might need to gently use a flat head screwdriver to pry it out.
