How Much Can CE Smith Roller-Style Guide-Ons be Adjusted?

How much adjustment to the on each side of the trailer will the Smith roller guide on allow? # ce27610

The CE Smith Roller-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers # CE27610 measure 17-1/2 inches horizontally. It mounts on 3 inch frames and roughly 3 inches of it is a portion which cannot be adjusted to so you will have approximately 11-1/2 inches that you will be able to adjust the guide-ons. What is the recommended space between the roller an the side of the boat when the the two could make contact? Thank you

There really isn't a set recommendation with regards to the space you're looking for between the roller and boat. You want a LITTLE so that the roller isn't actually supporting weight during travel, but if it's close enough that it's brushing up against the boat during loading/unloading that's perfectly fine (and to be expected). A few inches of space is probably about right.

My CE27610 were very easy to install. I just needed some guidence on the spacing between the rollers and the boat. I plan to use them tomorrow. Thanks for the information and guidance.
