Erikson Truck Bed Ladder Rack Distance Between Load Stops

Question:

How wide of a load can you fit in between the load stops? Mainly, can you fit a 4ft piece of plywood between the stops or would they need to be taken off?

The Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Load Stops - Aluminum - 800 lbs # EM07705 has adjustable load stops that will adjust up to 36.5 inches wide between the uprights. I confirmed this with the manufacturer.

This rack will not allow you to carry a 48 inch (4 foot) piece of plywood unless you put the load stops on the outside of the uprights. I've attached a photo of the underside of the bar to show that this is possible to do. The crossbars are 66-5/8 inches long, so you would be able to find a fit if you position your load stops according to that need.
