Question:
I currently have a set of Lippert 3500 lb axles V000113211 - LCI35-SB-86.5-68.5-NOSP-OS-L-545-7209-18PT and want to upgrade to 4400lb. Is there a equal in Dexter to look at?

When you are looking for a replacement axle there are a few measurements that you want to take note of to make sure that you get the correct replacement size. You want to get the same length axle that has the same Hub Face and Spring Center measurements.
From the information that you gave me, your current axle has a Hub Face measurement of 86.5 inches and a Spring Center measurement of 68.5 inches. Although we do not have any axles that have these exact measurements I do have a solution for you.
I recommend replacing your current axles with the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension # ASR5200S01. This option is much easier to install partially due to the fact that you do not have to mock up your trailer to make sure that all of your parts go together. These are rated for 5,200 lbs and are compatible with the Idler Hub # 8-213-5UC1-EZ or Hub and Drum # 8-201-5UC3-EZ with the Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-7-SA.
Please note that your trailer's max weight capacity is determined by the lowest rated component. If your trailer is only rated for 7,000 lbs GVWR and you put these axles on it that will not increase your GVWR.
