Will Valterra EZ Coil-N-Store Drinking Water Hose # W01-0022 Work as an Exterior Shower Hose

Question:

Can a hose of this diameter be used as the water source for a T@B trailer when hooked up to city water. Specifically, will it provide enough water, at a high enough pressure to shower. I currently use a 5/8” diameter hose and the shower water volume is adequate. But I need to get a new hose. As you might know, storage space in a T@B is at a premium, so the size of this hose is attractive. But not if the stream of shower water gets further reduced. Thank you.

It sounds like you could benefit from the Phoenix Faucets Exterior RV Shower Box # PF266201 provided there is somewhere you can install it on the outside of your trailer. It requires a cutout of 10-3/4" wide x 5-3/4" high x 3-11/16" deep.

If the hose is all you need then Valterra EZ Coil-N-Store Drinking Water Hose # W01-0022 does have a smaller diameter than a typical garden hose but what really will make a difference is what type of nozzle you are using on the other end. The diameter of this hose may restrict flow depending on the incoming pressure from the water source.
