Question:
I have a trailer that i bought with drum brakes. The person that i bought the trailer from put a new Titan Model 20 actuator on it. The actuator has a reverse solenoid lockout cover and i am wondering if the master cylinder is the one for disc or drum brakes. I am planning to convert the trailer over to disc brakes, so it would be great to find out that the master cylinder is actually the disc one. Problem is...I dont know just by looking at it, how to tell if it is the one for disc or drum? Is there a different part number stamped on the master cylinder denoting the difference between disc or drum? Thanks

Look at the top of the master cylinder and you'll be able to tell which type of brakes it is designed for by the whether there is a yellow dot or not. If you see the yellow dot then you have a disc brake setup. If no yellow dot then drum.
Also you can easily change either style to the other by swapping out the master cylinder. For a drum brake application you'd want the part # DX66FR or for disc part # T4747100.
