Recommended Tie-Downs for Compact Backhoe/Loader

Question:
I have a compact backhoe w/loader bucket. It weighs 3500 - 4000 lbs. Would using 4 each of these 2000 lb rated straps work for tie down and towing this equipment? Great Idea.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The ShockStrap Ratcheting Tie-Down Kit w/ Built-In Shock Absorbers - 2" x 9' # 297-9RSDB will work very well for your compact backhoe with loader. Using four straps for one backhoe/loader will work well. The majority of the weight will be on the track base and these straps will give you a combined 6000 lbs of stabilizing strength. The Shock will ensure your straps keep tension as the load shifts to ensure you maintain a secure hold. The durable polyester webbing of the strap is UV resistant and will withstand abrasions and water absorption. There is not a better product we carry to recommend for your application.
