Parts Needed to Use Tow Dolly with 2018 Fleetwood Discovery LXE 38K

Question:
Basically all you'd need is the Roadmaster Tow Dolly part # RM-2000-1 and then a brake controller installed in your 2018 Fleetwood Discovery LXE 38K to activate the dolly brakes and you'd be good. If you don't have a ball mount with a 2 inch ball you would need that as well. For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes. This will be the last brake controller you buy. It can easily be transferred to future vehicles as well. Your RV is built on a Fleetwood chassis. I contacted our representative at Freightliner, he informed me that if the motor home is a 2004 or newer there is a 6 pin connector under the dash that will be labeled either "TRBRK" or "TBC." This connector can be removed and the wires can be hard wired to the brake controller. For a ball mount with a 2 inch ball that would work well too you'd want the part # C45036.
