Weight Distribution System Recommendation for 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Updated 12/02/2024 | Published 10/01/2017

Question:

My 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is a 10th Anniversary addition which has a slight lift over stock. Will this airlift product work on my jeep? Also, I plan a 1inch rear/2inch front puck lift - will the product still fit? Lastly, with my trailer I seeing about a 2 - 2.5inch sag tongue weight 500 - will the product level this sag or is there a limit. Thanks,

For sag from towing a trailer a weight distribution system is actually a better option than a suspension kit as it also levels the suspension, but in doing so it moves some of the tongue weight of the trailer up to the front axle of the vehicle which improves handling and braking.

So if you have 500 lbs of tongue weight the part # RP66083 would be your best option as it has a tongue weight range of 400 to 800 lbs and the only sway control that works to prevent sway before it starts.

Suspension enhancement can work to eliminate sag, but it's more of a band aid for the situation.

For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.

I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler with a 3 1/2 teraflex coil spring lift. I have added a gobi rack, roof tent and awning that add about 450lbs in additional weight. I wish to add air bags to the rear. Can you provide details of what airbags I should add with the teraflex lift.

@Seamus For situations like this you have to reach out to Air Lift or Firestone directly and get them the dimensions of the coil.
