Question:
I was wondering if I can get an opinion on two different brand fifth wheel hitches, Blue Ox that mounts to a goose neck ball, or a B&W Companion that mounts to factory installed puck system I'm trying to make a decision between these two hitches on which one would be the best in performance and handling. I would appreciate your input.

Since you have a short bed 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 with the factory rail kit you have to go with a slider hitch to allow you the clearance to make tight turns. So for that you would want the part # BWRVK3770.
There are a few exceptions where you might be able to get away with a stationary hitch part # BWRVK3700 though. The trailer would have to either have a narrow nose designed for short bed clearance or have a Reese Revolution or Sidewinder pin box installed.
