Howdy, I have a 81 Wells Cargo car hauler trailer. 8x18foot It has a back ramp door I want to change to a set of swing doors. What are teh parts needed for sucha a cange over?

To convert the ramp door on your Wells Cargo Car Hauler to swing or barn doors, you will need some hinges and a latch.

A lockable latch like the Polar Hardware Cam-Action Door Latch Kit # 383200 is a great option. This system features a bridge-type hasp to help prevent accidental opening and ensures a safe latching action. The black vinyl grip on the handle makes for a nice, comfortable grip. This will require a 3/4 inch standard pipe which can be obtained at a local hardware store. You can use a padlock like # ML1KA to help deter theft of your cargo.

Then for hinges, I recommend looking at the Strap Hinge # 2008-8. This heavy duty steel hinge measures 11 inches in length and features 3 mounting holes.
