Question:
The towing vehicle has a 7-way plug-in, its used for the Truck to trailer. I like to have my trailer raised up already. Not have to plug in and unplug jack and then plug in trailer 7-way. Extra time and work, we can do without. Someone about 4 or 5 years ago had the right idea, A Jack with only two wires that we keep hooked to the Trailer battery all the time and can move the Jack up or down when needed, with out a truck. Then when we back up we already have jacked the trailer up and ready to hitch it up. yep, 1 wire Jacks with internal Ground at mount plate works too.

The Ultra-Fab Electric A-Frame Jack - 18" Lift - 3,500 lbs # UF38-944017 can be wired for both the power and a ground to go to the battery, you would just need to add the jumper wire for the ground connection as it is designed to be grounded to the trailer through the mounting flange. The # UF38-944037 has a 7-way plug to power the unit so no other power is needed if you prefer.
