Replacement Leaf Springs and Spring Hangers for 2010 EZ Loader Trailer

Question:

I have a 2010 EZ Loader Trailer, model number TAL102B 20-23 5200 Would you be able to tell me which leaf springs and hangers I would need? Thanks so much.

I checked the specs for several model years of the EZ Loader trailer models like your TAL102B 20-23 5200 but no detail is provided for the leaf springs other than that they are rated for the trailer's 5200-lb axle.

To know the actual length of your existing leaf springs you really need to pull one out of the trailer's suspension. When the spring is installed on the trailer it is much tougher to get its exact length. We have two spring options that could work for your 5.2K axle.

Part # e28SR is a 4-leaf double-eye spring rated for 5K that measures 25-1/4-inches long from eye to eye. Part # SP-222275 is a 6-leaf double-eye spring rated for 5.3K that measures 24-7/8-inches eye to eye. As you compare your spring length do note that after many year of use a spring can stretch slightly, up to 3/4-inch. If your worn spring measures, for example 26-inches, it may actually have been 25-1/4-inches long when new.
