How to Determine the Type of Lift Spacer Needed

when measuring for the correct spacer needed for the install. do you measue the gap between the brackets when the truck is on the ground or off the ground. and also after install it looks as though i wont be able to use the stock suspension to its full capibility before using the bags to adjust the ride level is that correct?

The correct way to measure for a lift spacer is when the truck is on the ground without any added weight in the bed of the truck. You will want to measure from the bottom of the top bracket to the top of the bottom bracket where the air bags attach.
Space From Top To Bottom Bracket:
6.5" to 7.5" - part # F2536
7.5" to 8.5" - part # F2366
8.5" to 9.5" - part # F2368
10.5" to 11.5" - part # F2373
11.5" to 12.5" - part # F2374
These lift spacers are designed to be placed on the bottom bracket under the air bag and are compatible with both RideRite and AirLift systems. The amount of use and weight the bags will receive depends on the amount of air put into them. If you leave the airbags at the minimum of 5 psi the effects will be minimal. The more you inflate the airbags the more weight they take off the vehicle's rear suspension components.
