Question:
Bought a sportRack for my tent trailer. You are supposed to drill through the metal trim on the top of it around the edge. Do you know what is beneath it which I will be drilling into?

Expert Reply:
The SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020 installs on the roof of your pop-up camper by first picking out the desired location of the roof rack. You will then take a 1/8-inch drill bit and drill holes through the roof that line up with the holes on the feet of the roof rack. Using the included hardware you will then bolt the crossbars onto your roof to secure the roof rack.
Since you will be choosing where the roof rack installs, whatever is on the inside portion of the roof of your camper will vary.
Please keep in mind that this roof rack will not fit trailer roofs that have rounded or curved edges.
