Troubleshooting Primus Brake Controller With S.H Code Flashing

Question:

Hi I have a primus brake controler and I blew the plastic plug it shorted out and blew a fuse no brake lights replaced fuse got brake lights but unit displays Sh flashing when not plugged in turn ignition off unit still flashes for about five minutes goes out turn ignition on starts flashing Sh is they a reset button ?? Unit runs through a ser it breaker thanks

The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 that displays a flashing S.H shows that there is a short on your brake wire. There is not a reset button, but unplugging the controller for 15 minutes will allow it to reset. If after resetting, it still shows this code, I recommend tracing your wires with a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to check the wires for continuity and find the short then replace the wire as needed.
