Hi. I have a yakima HOLDUP plus 2. Can I use this tongue and put it in the plus 2 so i can directly mount the plus 2 to the hitch. The reason for my question was I bought the plus 2 instead of the holdup hitch mount, Now I am stuck with the plus 2 and could not use it because I need to buy the one the mounts to the hitch. I hope you can help me. Did not want to spend and waste the holdup plus 2.

It is possible turn the Yakima HoldUp Plus 2 # Y02446 that you have into a Yakima HoldUp # Y02443.
You need to purchase the replacement spine # 8890277 and the hitch bolt # Y8890200.
