Solution for Installing BoatBuckle G2 Straps on Trailer Where Old Holes were Covered by Lights

Question:
I BOUGHT THE BOAT BUCKLES AND I WAS WONDERING IF I DRILL A HOLE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TRAILER TO MOUNT THEM WILL THAT WORK? THE PREVIOUS STRAP HOLE IS COVERED UP WITH NEW LED LIGHTS. I DONT THINK THE MOUNTING BRACKETS ARE IN OPTION. aNY IDEAS? THANKS

Best option for you would be to drill 3/8 inch holes in your trailer frame to install the BoatBuckly G2 Tie Downs part # IMF14220 in a new location since the old holes are covered.
