Compatibility of the Bearing Buddy Grease Seal Set on Boat Trailer Axle

Question:

The seal surface on my boat trailer is a little rough. This looks like the ticket to fix the problem but Im not quite sure if its the right part as the numbers dont quite add up. Its a 1inch straight shaft axel, the seal surface is 1.25. The hubs are 4 on 4 with L44643/L44610 bearings. The description talks about 1.375 seal IDs which confuses me a bit unless the sleeve is thicker then Im expecting.

The Bearing Buddy Grease Seal Kit, # BB60001, is compatible on spindles that use the L44646 inner wheel bearing.

The seals ID is 1.375 inches, but the stainless steel rings that slide over the spindle fit the 1.275 inch seal surface on the spindle. When installed on the axle, the grease seal will seat to the steel ring and complete the seal between the hub and the axle.
