Question:

I need a 6inch hitch extension that will allow me to pull my 36foot rv. It has about 800 lbs of tongue weight and about 10,800gvwr. I drive. 2017 f-350 and the hitch can take up to a 3inch hitch.

The hitch reducer we have for a 3 inch hitch receiver on a 2017 F-350 is the Buyer's Products Adapter # 337RTA302. This will give you only a 3-7/8 inch extension while reducing the size of your receiver opening.

If you need a longer extension, I recommend the Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Hitch Receivers - 8" Long # C45791 which will give you an 8 inch extension but will also reduce your trailer hitch tongue weight rating by up to 50 percent like all hitch extenders do including the Blue Ox.
