Air Safe delivers premium, heavy-duty shock absorption for valuable loads like horses, race cars, campers, and equipment, while its modular attachment system gives you flexibility as your towing needs change. Because the components bolt together around a versatile attachment plate, you can choose the right setup now and later adapt the hitch for compatible ball mounts, weight distribution heads, or other towing connections without replacing the entire shock-absorbing unit.

Keep Your Existing Weight Distribution Setup

Replacing an existing weight distribution setup adds parts and extra work. The included 12" weight distribution bracket accepts your existing weight distribution head, letting your current setup connect to the AirSafe hitch. Your weight distribution equipment stays in service while the air bag manages shock transfer.

Dial In Air Pressure for the Load

Trailer response changes as tongue weight changes between loads. Adjustable air pressure balances your trailer's tongue weight with no minimum tongue-weight requirement. You can set the air pressure for the current load and keep the cushioning action working during towing.

Carry Heavy Trailer Loads

Heavy towing requires the hitch assembly to stay within the needed load ratings. This mount carries a 14,000-lb gross towing weight rating and a 1,050-lb maximum tongue weight, supported by a solid steel shank and four steel tie-rods rated at 16,200 lbs each. Your towing hardware supports demanding loads within these stated limits.

Attach the Bracket with Included Hardware

Connecting the bracket to the AirSafe hitch requires the correct mounting hardware. Hardware for that attachment is included, while hardware for connecting the bracket to your existing weight distribution setup is not included. Your bracket can be secured to the hitch before you add the required connection hardware for the existing setup.
