Question:

Can I make the C13153 work on my 2017 Santa Fe Sport? I want the hidden look. I dont want the bumper hanging down past bumper. I am willing to change out the rear lower bumper skid plate or cut out an opening.

For your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13152. I reached out to my tech contact at Curt and this hitch is the only confirmed fit they have for your Sport model because it has a wider frame than the SE and Limited. The Curt # C13153 is not compatible at all and not only due to the bumper or skid plate.

For your trailer wiring, I recommend the 4 Pole Trailer Connector (Includes Install Kit) # C59496. This harness is compatible with incandescent or LED systems. It draws power from your battery to protect your factory wiring from overload.

For your ball mount, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop, 5-1/2" Rise - 10K - Black # BWTS10037B. This ball mount adjusts to allow you to tow your trailer level and also stores cleanly out of the way to save your shins when loading or unloading cargo. It comes with a 2 inch and a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball that is compatible with most trailer couplers. I also recommend using a locking hitch pin like # e98882 to protect your investment.
