Can 600 lb Tongue Weight Equalizer Spring Bars Replace 1,000 lb Spring Bars

Question:
I currently have an Equalizer 10k hitch. I am buying a much lighter trailer and I would like to know if the 6k bars would match with the 10k head? Thanks for your reply.

The 6k Equalizer Spring bars part # EQ90-01-0699 that you mentioned will fit in the head of your 10k Equalizer hitch and would work well for you.
