Question:
I have a home made trailer that Im trying to find a hub for. The hub thats on there now is bent. It has a tapered spindle. If I give you the numbers on the inner and outer bearings, are you guys able to match a hub that will fit those bearings and spindle?

Expert Reply:
Yes, if you can identify the inner and outer bearing numbers in your existing hub it will be easy to find a new hub that will fit your spindle. As long as the bearings are the same the new hub will fit the spindle. You will want to make sure there is no damage to the spindle.
I linked our main page for hubs. You can click on the filters on the page to narrow down the items shown to just those with the correct attributes for your trailer. Click on your bearing numbers first, then choose your bolt pattern, axle weight capacity and hub type, hub and drum for brakes, like # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K, or just an idler hub like # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K.
