Are Diode Style Tow Bar Lighting Kits a Fit for 2015 Mini Cooper

Question:

I have a 2015 mini cooper 2 door hatchback with a manual transmission. Ive installed the tow bar bracket and now am was using the universial 4 diode kit to do the wiring. I have the wiring in place from the front of the mini to the two taillight areas. Now Im worried that the 12V on/off signals from the RV for brake and turn are NOT compatible with the way that the mini modulates the LED control wiring. In other words, I believe the mini has a modulated voltage that produces a lower operating RMS voltage than the basic on/off of the RV electrical system. Can you offer any advice before I splice and hook up the diode wiring system from you?

Roadmaster has test fit their diode tow bar wiring kits like the part # RM-154 on your 2015 Mini Cooper with it's taillight design and it has been confirmed as a fit. The bulbs will interpret the voltage of the diode kit just fine.
