For your 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited I recommend etrailer's 2-inch Class III hitch # e98864 for its no-drill installation and its higher tongue weight (TW) capacity of 525-lbs. You will want to confirm the vehicle's own TW rating in the manual and always observe the lower of the two ratings.

You can view the installation process on a 2016 RAV4 by clicking on the video link provided for you. Unlike some Curt brand hitches this one does not require you to use a support strap # 18050 for non-trailer load like bike racks.

In this 2-inch hitch you can use Class III accessory items such as a 2-inch bike rack like the Yakima FullSwing 4 Bike Rack # Y02465 or a 2-inch cargo carrier like # C18151.
