Question:
We just purchased a 2016 Ford F-150 to replace an older TV for our Casita Travel Trailer. I need to purchase a Class III ball mount and a sway bar attachment. Using your measurement instructions, I calculate that the F-150 receiver is about .875inch higher than the Casita coupler. If I purchase the items I have listed below, Im estimating that I will get about a 1.625inch , for a difference of about .75inch with the Casita being lower than the F-150. Would you please confirm, and also double-check to make sure I have the correct parts? Thanks so much! Everything looks good! The Ball Mount part # AMSC2 will work well for you and gets you close enough to level that the trailer would tow fine. The hitch ball part # C40020 will fit the ball mount, the bracket part # RP26003 fits the ball mount, and the ball # C40093 will fit that.
You didn't mention a sway control unit though. For that the part # 83660 would work great. It comes with the smaller hitch ball as well.
