Yes, the Adapter Sleeve for Fastway and Diversi-Tech 2" Locking Ball Mounts # DTADP25-SS is designed for use in towing applications with the adjustable ball mounts so it will work when towing.
If you do not have a Diversitech or Fastway ball mount you instead would need the # C45405.
