I have both a Roadmaster Sterling and Blue Ox Tow bar that came with my motorhome. I also have an RVi brake system. Can you tell me what else I would need considering its a diesel with 2 batteries. Also, if you dont think the RVi is the best braking setup, I am not opposed to selling it and going with another setup.

First you will need the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM86FR on your 2022 GMC Sierra 2500HD to attach your Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-576. The RoadMaster Sterling All Terrain Towing Combo Kit # RM-9284-2 will provide you with the wiring needed to use your truck tail lights so you will not need magnetic lights. Also included with the kit are locks, storage bag, cover, and lube spray to protect and extend the life of your tow bars.
For a braking system I find the Demco units are the best. If you will be towing with a vehicle that has air brakes the Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # DM26VR is the system you will need. For towing with a vehicle with hydraulic brakes the Stay-IN-Play DUO # DM86VR will be the kit you need. Both of these are installed on the vehicle so there is no box to have to move or connect when you preparing your truck. A Charge Line # RM-156-25 will ensure your battery stays charged from your tow vehicle and will not be drained by the braking system.
You are required to disconnect the batteries when flat towing. The Battery Disconnect Switch with Lock # 3376391005 can be wired in and allow you to disconnect the batteries with a turn of the switch. As it is also lockable this will help you to be able to secure your truck when it is being flat towed.
