Hey Joe, good question. Yes it does matter which way the TowSmart Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve # TS75FR faces. You want the longer end, or the end without the hole, to go into the hitch first. I edited a picture to show which way it should go into the hitch.

@JesseM worked great, thank you. Think I had it right but once I saw your info I wanted to make sure. Honestly prob put it in both ways without thinking about it but now make sure its the correct way when using it. Thanks again
