Parts Needed for Brake Controller Installation on a 2007 Ford F-550 Cab and Chassis Truck

Question:
My F550 has a gray, 4 wire plug - just behind the ash tray. The truck is already wired for a 7 way trailer plug to the rear of the vehicle. Will the Prodigy Brake Controller plug into this gray, 4 wire plug? is there additional wiring to the brake controller required?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the # 3065-P connector will plug into the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Proportional Brake Controller # 90885. It will just plug into the back of the brake controller and the gray plug that you found and supply power to activate the trailer brakes, once the brake controller is properly mounted and setup.
Since your 2007 F-550 is pre-wired with a 7-Way trailer connector from the factory no additional wiring will be needed. I have provided a link to instructions for you to review.
