Hey Clay, thanks for reaching out. So the part number # 90195 is the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 brake controller and the universal 4-wire pigtail.

The # TK29UR comes with the # 90195 controller but instead of the universal pigtail it comes with the custom plug-in pigtail part # 3026-P which is for GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave and Chevy Traverse OEM tow package. Basically # TK29UR is a kit we make for folks with those vehicles.

I see that you were looking at parts for a 2009 Chevy Silverado. If you need a controller for this truck you will want to go with the # 90195. The wires for the brake controller will already be present under the dash. So you can use the universal pigtail that comes with the # 90195 and you will be good to go.

Take a look at the install video I linked below and let me know if you have any questions.

Hey Clay, how did things go with the Prodigy P3 brake controller on your Silverado? Were you able to get it connected using the universal pigtail that comes with the 90195 kit? Your update could make it easier for others sorting through the same options.

@JesseM, The 90195 and universal pigtail wired right in to the existing under dash wires provided by Chevy. The 2 under hood power wires were also preexisting though not hooked up, and that's totally understandable but a fuse for the system was required.

@ClayW Nice! Glad to hear it worked out! Thanks for the tip about the fuse too. I am sure that will be helpful for others with similar setups. Feel free to come back anytime you need anything!
