Question:
Hello, Im considering buying the Draw Tite I-Command controller for my 2000 Toyota Tundra. It already has the 4 prong trailer connector. Could I possibly purchase the ETBC7 install kit, minus the 7 pin / 4 pin connector I already have that exact Hopkins model shown with the kit? I would still need everything else in the kit including the mounting bracket. Thanks!

Absolutely. All you will need is our brake controller wiring kit, part # 5506, and the mounting bracket, # 18138. If you do not already have a circuit tester and you anticipate that you will need one, then I recommend picking up a higher quality tester than what comes with our ETBC7 kit. The tester I use and recommend is the Draw-Tite Circuit Tester, # PTW2993.
I don't have an installation video on a Toyota Tundra, but I attached an installation video on a pickup truck to give you an idea of how the installation will go. It sounds like you have a good handle on it already, but I thought more resources might not hurt.
