Question:

Im looking for a Roof Basket that will fit my 2003 Chevy Suburban 2500 that can provide large capacity. I also would like to be able to add accessories such as lights, shovel/ axe, gas cans, etc. in the future. I have factory rails at the moment and not sure if I need something different. Any suggestions?

Surco recommends the 50 inch by 84 inch Safari basket with adapter for factory side rails # SPS5084-1101 for your 2003 Chevy Suburban. You can use a shorter length such as # SPS5060-1101 as long as the width is 50 inches.

There are various accessories for these baskets. For a light mounting bracket use # SPLT100 (for 1 light; light not included). For an ax or shovel carrier use # SPAX100. For a hi-lift jack carrier use # SP1108. And for a spare tire carrier use # SPST100.
