Troubleshooting Lippert Ground Control System With RR Jack Error Code

Question:

I have a 2016 Jayco Pinnacle 5 slide 5th wheel. The leveling system is giving an error RR jack error retract all jacks manually. I have retracted all the jacks and still am getting this error. Is there a way to reset the leveling system?

It sounds like you have the Lippert Ground Control leveling system on your Jayco Fifth Wheel.

I checked out the error codes and RR Jack means there is an issue with the Right Rear jack on your trailer. In the manual for the Ground Control 3.0 system it says to clear the error code you will need to extend all of the jacks at least 6-inches and then press retract on the touch pad until the jacks begin retracting. Then all of the jacks will retract and clear the error message.

I have attached a copy of the page in the manual that explains how to take care of and clear the codes. You will also need to check the harness connections at the controller and at the jack to make sure they are secured and show no signs of damage.

I’ve tried that but you cannot extend the middle jacks out so when you try the auto retract it throws the code for lm and rm jack error over and over again

@KevinW So that would indicate there's a problem with the wiring to the jack or the jack itself has a problem. Most likely it's wiring so I would go over the wiring to it and also make sure your battery is in good shape.
