Best Fifth Wheel Slider Hitch Recommendation for 17k Trailer

Question:

What is the best 5th wheel hitchr for ford 250 deisel 6.5 bed for about 17000 pounds 5th wheeler. Everyone says pullrite but others say curt or reese. Just want to make the right decision as I just got my ordered truck.

For a fifth wheel hitch you will need a slider hitch since your truck has a short bed and not a long bed. The slider hitch allows you turning clearance. Otherwise you'd hit the cab of the truck with the trailer. Most people swear by the Companion slider part # BWRVK3400 which is one of our best selling hitches. This hitch is generally referred to as the nicest hitch available so we recommend it quite a bit. I would need to know what year Ford F-250 you have though so that I could recommend a rail kit.

This hitch has a 20k capacity too.
