Since the Peterson Plate Light with Bracket, part # PM436B, weighs in at under a pound, I don't see any problem with installing it on the 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18145. If you would rather not drill into the cargo carrier frame you can use the Deka Cable Ties Kit # DW05724-10 to secure the bracket to the cargo carrier although it might not be as sturdy. You might also need some extra Wiring # 12-1-1 and Butt Connectors # DW05745-10 so finish the installation.
