Can Higher Load Range Tire be Used on Trailer Axle Than Other Axle

Question:
Hi, I have a 11,000 lb RV trailer. It has four ST225/75/R15 load range D tires. The Rear passenger tire is wearing the outside edge bad. I think it is a bearing problem. Im going to have it serviced and also want to replace the tire. I found ST225/75/R15 load range E at a good price. My questing is 2fold, can I change the load range from D to E and Can I just change the rear axleboth rear tires ? This would keep the original LOAD RANGE Dinch tires on the front axle and two new LOAD RANGE Einch same size on the rear axle. The unit is relativity new, 2015, maybe 12,000 miles on them. I never travel without a 1,000 lb motorcycle on the passenger side, some times Im carrying two 1,000 lb each motorcycles. Any input would be appreciated.

You are on the right track with what you are planning. You would ideally want to replace both tires at the same time. Having the one axle with a different Load Range would not be a problem either. As long as the tire sizes are the same you would be fine.
For a Load Range E in the tire size of 225/75-15 we have the part # TR225LRE which has a weight capacity of 2,830-lb max load at 80 psi. This tire also has a higher speed rating at 81 mph too.
