When substituting new hubs you need to match several things: the axle capacity, the wheel bolt pattern and the bearing set used inside the hub. Bearing dimensions can be used instead of the bearing part numbers but the part numbers are the best way to ensure the new hub will fit properly on your spindles. Matching the inner and outer bearing numbers ensures compatibility. You can also measure your current hubs' outside-to-inside depth (the distance from the outer bore where a grease cap installs to the inner bore where the grease seal goes).

For an application without brakes, meaning idler hubs rather than hub/drum assemblies, you can use the linked page that will display all idler hubs. You can select your axle rating and preferred wheel bolt pattern by clicking on the appropriate filters. We offer 6-on-5-1/2 hubs for 3500-lb, 5200-lb and 600-lb axles.

For instance, part # AKIHUB-655-6-K is a 6-on-5-1/2 idler hub rated for 6K axles that uses (and includes) inner bearing 25580 and outer bearing 15123.
