Question:

Looking to tow my 2017 Jeep Wrangler 4-door Sahara behind my 2015 Sunseeker, by Forest River model 3050S. What will I need Blue Ox or Roadmaster to install, including an alternate braking system?

I like the Demco tow bars like the Commander, part # DM9511012. They include a rise or drop which helps eliminate the need for a high-low adapter and make it easier to tow level. They also have independent arms which is nice when hooking up. The Commander includes safety cables too.

The base plates for your Jeep that pair up with the Commander are part # DM9519292. The arms are removable so you can barely see them when you're not towing.

For lighting you can use the diode kit part # RM-15267. With this lighting you don't have to cut into the tail light housing. This lighting kit splices into your taillight wiring to allow your motorhome to control the tail lights on the Jeep. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.

For a supplemental brake system I recommend the Stay-IN-Play DUO, part # SM99251. It's a permanent install which is more involve but after that you just flip a switch to set it up when you're ready to tow.
