Question:

I just bought the 75th anniversary addition of the 2017 Sahara Wrangler four-door What will I need to toe this behind my motorhome Do you guys have a store in Canada or are you out of the United States If so will I have issues shipping this to cross the border Is it possible to keep the original bumper The other thing is what do you recommend so that I dont get stone chips on the front of my jeep Thank you very much In advance

Thanks for the photo of your new Wrangler. Seeing the bumper really helps when finding components needed for flat-towing. From the photo it looks like you have the Rubicon Hard Rock bumper.

When you are flat-towing you need base plates, a tow bar, lighting for the towed vehicle, safety cables, and a supplemental brake system.

The base plates I recommend that are designed to fit your Jeep are the Roadmaster XL, part # 1444-1. The bumper does not have to be removed when installing the base plates. The installation instructions are attached.

The tow bar I recommend is the Falcon 2, part # RM-520. The safety cables I recommend are part # RM-643.

For lighting I recommend the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit, part # HM56200. You will also need a brake light relay, part # RM-88400. This prevents the vehicle from overriding the turn signal from the motorhome when you are using the brakes or turn signals.

For a supplemental brake system I recommend the Even Brake, part # RM-9400. You will also need a 12 volt outlet kit like part # RM-9332 for power since the 12V outlets in the Wrangler will not have power when the vehicle is in flat tow mode.

To protect your new Jeep from rocks and gravel I recommend the Roadmaster Tow Defender, part # RM-4700. This screen measures 40 x 72 inches and rolls up to 4-inches diameter for storage.
